Is the customer always right?

Some businesses act as if this is the golden rule...The Customer is Always Right.

So what do you do if they aren't right? In fact what do you do when they are just plain wrong?

Say something and risk losing a customer?

Say nothing and then have the customer come back dissatisfied and blame you for not telling them they were wrong in the first place?

Do you have a right answer?
